Varenummer: BK6026-BK6029
Lagerbeholdning:

Mukluk is Salsas exploration fatbike. All Mukluks feature Alternator dropouts, making singlespeed or geared setups possible. Suspended models feature the RockShox Bluto fork for improved bump absorption and increased traction. Rigid models feature Bearpaw forks with Three-Pack braze-ons for added carrying capacity. Mukluk is only limited by your imagination. Free your mind, and the experiences shall follow.

Merk: Alle sykler leveres delvis montert.

FEATURES

6066-T6 Aluminum Tubeset
Top-shelf, double and triple-butted, heat-treated 6066-T6 aluminum tubing is used throughout the frame. This 6000-series aluminum has better strength and fatigue characteristics than 6061 and 7000-series aluminums, allowing for a stronger and lighter overall frame. Additionally, the tubing is strategically shaped and formed for additional stiffness and strength optimization in key stress areas

RockShox Bluto Suspension Fork Included
100mm travel. Tapered steerer tube. 150 x 15mm thru-axle hub spacing, 74mm post mount fork

Salsa Fatbike Geometry
The geometry used across our entire fatbike line has remained basically unchanged since developing the Beargrease Carbon back in 2012. We’ve adapted it to all our fatbike models because it works extremely well in all conditions and use cases whether it be riding groomed singletrack at your local trail, exploring a deserted beach, or embarking across the wild frozen expanses of Alaska in the ITI race. At its core, we use the shortest chainstay possible in conjunction with a headtube angle and fork offset that place the rider’s center of gravity further over the rear wheel. This location and combination of front and rear center is key to getting a fatbike that is stable, steers well in loose conditions, and still also feels nimble and agile despite the massive wheels and tires. A low bottom bracket height is also key, to keep the rider’s center of gravity low, and to make dabbing and dismounting easier

Full-Length Housing Cable Routing
Full-length housing improves shifting performance in poor conditions and increases use time between maintenance intervals

Multiple Bottle Cages
All frame sizes accept 2 bottle cages

170 x 10mm Symmetrical Rear Spacing
Results in a strong rear wheel and frame; maintains proper chainline with crankset

PressFit 41 x 121mm Bottom Bracket
Compatible with all 1x and 2x fatbike-specific cranks in both GXP and 24mm spindle types, that matches up to 170/177mm rear spacing

Replaceable Derailleur Hanger
Extra sold separately

Tapered Headtube
The modern standard for mountain bikes increases front-end frame and fork stiffness without adding significant weight

Wheel & Tire Options
Mukluk Aluminum is designed for use with 26 x 4” fatbike wheels on rims up to 100mm wide. The frame is also compatible with the following wheel and tire combinations:
• 26 x 4.0” on up to 100mm rim (1x drivetrain only)
• 29 x 2.25–3” (including 29+)
• 27.5 x 3.0–3.25” (aka 27.5+)
• NOT COMPATIBLE WITH TIRES LARGER THAN 26 x 4.0”
